The bowl games outside the playoffs have been 2nd team exhibitions, used for extra practice, and launch the team into the next year if they pull out a win. I wonder how much we got for all the bowls since the revenue is split evenly.

Not often you see a team penalized for facemask when it was their guy who got facemasked.
They’re still reading hell. Not sure I blame them. That facemask call was just terrible. What’s worse, the ref who threw the flag was looking straight at both players.
ETA:
Not sure what is objectionable about what I said. I have no dog on the fight. But it was clear as day they refs called facemask on the wrong team.

You’re right. It sure did. That was terrible as well. Not nearly as blatantly bad. But terrible none the less. Look, I could not care less who wins this. I just want to watch a good game decided by the guys in helmets and not the ones in stripes.

All I know is when they showed the replay on the Jumbotron it looked like the Vandy reciever was the one who had his hand on the Ga Tech DB, not the other way around. In fact, when they first threw the flag, I thought it might be offensive PI because it looked like he pushed off.
