Auburn plays 3 rotations on D line from the start.

LOL, and? The stats against the rotational group in a close game in the 1st half don't count?

Come on

Georgia put up 1.44 YPC.

They completely shut us down. They did a great job.

I'm going to get destroyed for saying this, but I believe we got Auburn's absolute best shot on Saturday and we folded like a cheap table.

That's what happens to you at the top. It's understandable UGA couldn't handle it the first time you got there. Bama's got everybodies' best shot for 10 fukin years. The problem with AU is giving your best shot every game. And now Bama will be extremely motivated and it will be hard for Auburn to pull it off again. Bama by >14.

A case of where Stats don't always tell the whole truth.

4.00 vs Missouri
After getting a 29-0 lead Auburn didn't attack the run game nearly as hard the rest of the game.

4.13 vs Mississippi State
76 of their 193 rushing yards came in the last 2 drives in the 4th quarter after the game was out of hand and everyone was in running out the clock mode. Previous 12 drives netted the remaining 117 yards rushing.

4.07 vs Arkansas
40 of the 171 yards same on one long run towards the end of the 1st half. 76 of the 131 came at the end of the game once Auburn had stretched it's lead inthe 3rd quarter.

4.21 vs Texas A&M
67 of the 143 yards rushing came on two long runs. The other 32 rushes averaged less than 2.4ypc

Auburn's DB's played downhill in run support all day. Thought ti was going to be a long day for the Auburn D when Fromm his that nice play action pass on 1st down to Goodwin which got Georgia down around the 12-13 yard line. For whatever reason Georgia was never able to hit any passes except for their drop back and chuck up a jump ball to their tall WRs or short passes behind or near the LoS. Georgia might need to take a look at their route combinations because with the exception of that 1st drive pass to Goodwin the Auburn DB's had a bead on the route combos the Ga receivers were running.

Auburn had been a good but not great rush defense for basically 2 months and Georgia just crumpled in the run game against them.

Two factors in my mind.

1) Motivation. Clearly, they were locked in.

2) LB's and Safeties were healthy for the first time since Clemson.
