He hasn’t completely tanked his draft stock yet. Right now the NFL might be a little worried that Bowers and McConkey carried him but if he comes back next year it may be further confirmed . Smart to get out while the getting is good.

I said good riddance because we have better options at QB and Beck's arrogant arse could cause one or two of them to hit the portal if he decided to return.
I don't understand why y'all are surprised. Beck started the year as an Heisman hopeful and then just completely stunk up his odds. Sure, WR had more drops than any team in the country, but the interceptions were all Beck. That Beck reminded me of Quincey Carter is worrisome, for me.
It would have been completely selfish on his part if he decided to come back and deny Gunner and the other QBs an opportunity to lead.

Shallow draft and he’s flashed plenty to show he has NFL QB traits. In a deeper QB draft he may have come back but he’ll probably grade out as a first rounder in this draft. It’s the right decision for he and his family.

I’m thankful for his time at UGA. As others have said, he’s better than the stats show. Much like Jake Fromm in 2019, he was hampered by inconsistency in his WRs.
