If Sam can get Arkansas to a minor bowl yearly then he can stay as long as he likes.

That is the best we can do is hope. We have been burned too many times and let our guard down.

Agreed. He'll prove to be a much better coach than Kirby Shart in another year or so.

I will be pulling for Arkansas to run the table the rest of the season, and they can with the exception of Bama.

He is in his early 60s. So maybe five years tops.

Five years? Really? This guy turns 70 on the last day of this month.

If he goes 7-5 each year then it isn't a waste.

Sam was huge at one point and lost considerable weight. Which means either his physician told to lose weight or you will have health problems. He is in better health now but Saban is in better shape and was never overweight as that is where problems begin.

Sam never said how long he will be here but I would say that he will retire and your health has a lot to do with it.

Thanks, we are glad we have him as our coach. We all knew that we weren't on the level talent-wise, of Georgia or Alabama, and Sam knows it too.. when he first got here and we had a top 25 recruiting class he said that's a good start but not where we need to be. He fully understands he will have to recruit his way to that level, and I really think he has a chance to do that. He feels like the Hogs deserve to have top 5 recruiting classes, and he's a great recruiter; but only time will tell if he can get us to that point. Good luck to Georgia the rest of the way, I really do believe you guys have a legit shot of winning it all this year!

He understands that you need big bodies to control the line of scrimmage on both sides. The previous coaches didn't understand that and that included Bobby Petrino.
