"UGA and Bama have a long way to go"....
Hey bro, currently, UGA and Bama own LSU and are on top of the CFB while LSU is wallowing in mediocrity. That's what matters to most any normal human being and fan of the sport. Don't believe me?...go to the campus and poll about 1000 LSU fans and ask them if that's what currently MATTERS.
Only goofballs on forums like this cesspool would try arguing about other sports and what happened in the days of yore, which might as well have happened in the Jurassic period as far as how college football ages.

Georgia doesn’t own 1 sport much less the entire SEC. They’re not even in the top 3 in SEC as far as overall nattys.
Wow. You're right! We came in at #4. How embarrassing. I guess we really are only a football school.

Congrats on your women's basketball title last year.

The past proves that LSU is the KING OF THE SEC. 51 nattys the most in the conference. Both Georgia and Bama have a long, long way to go to catch Daddy. LOL

Who is the current SEC champion?

Travaris Robinson interviewed with new @AlabamaFTBL coach Kalen DeBoer for several hours Sunday for the defensive coordinator job, but has decided to remain at Georgia, sources tell ESPN.
Meanwhile, on the Plains, the most loyal and dedicated assistant coach at the barn has just bailed on Hugh Freeze. Cadillac Williams has left the building.
Apparentely, that Maryland beatdown was just too much of a look into the future.

Bama fans coping going to hard this year
They will be sharing Saban's record vs. Kirby for decades to come in order to get over the loss

Georgia's a great team. I admit that. And right now, with Kirby one to be admired. And who knows, maybe they will own the SEC but we've not seen that happen yet.
Without Saban at Bama, LUS was supposed to have run roughshod over the West but when was the last time beside '19 they won 12 games?

So, Alabama measures their success by how they do against Georgia now? Wow. I remember when it was the other way around.
Are we going to start hearing, "Remember when Saban was here? We were 6-1 against them, then!" stories for the next 30-40 years?
