Cmon Shaft, that's some BS. So you're saying you're a one loss team with one more Defensive lineman?

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. It's possible we still lose to Arky, but there's no fricking way we lose to Okie or UF with Maggit in the game. Did you watch the games?

Yeah guys, from now on the only injuries that count are the ones where your best player gets hurt against certain teams.

You don't read well for a vandy guy. No one said that.

With that said, The better the player, the bigger the impact. Whoever ut lost as good as Chubb.

Are you saying that Chubb could have stopped Josh Dobbs?

Yes

Curt was equally as important to UT as Chubb was to UGA. Leader of the defense and arguably the best player on that side of the ball. Tuttle was irreplaceable as well.

So according to Vol fans- you were 1 D lineman away from the final 4. But pointing out the loss of Chubb as possibly effecting the outcome of the UGA/ UT game is moral victory speak. And "Loser"....don't want to forget that.

OK, I think I got it now.

Not all injuries are equal. Ut never lost your best player in the Uga game

No we simply lost our RT and RG and had to replace both starters with true freshmen who'd never seen the field. I mean it's not like linemen are important in the SEC. And we all know true freshmen offensive linemen are ideal. It's not like that position is the most in need of a red shirt year for development or anything.

Oh and our best DT got taken out.

No offense, but that is simply not true. Chubb was a Heisman candidate on a team that couldn't throw. The offense and game plan was built around him. And we didn't have the luxury of knowing he wouldn't play and prepping around that.

Losing ANY D player 4 games ago could never equal the impact of losing your key offensive skill player on the 1st play. Having already gameplanned for them. No way.

Dear God, my suspicions have been confirmed. You don't know anything about the sport that you post about daily.

Nobody is arguing who's better.

But losing your senior, all SEC caliber DE, with no real replacement is just as impactful to UT as losing Chubb (with a 5* stud in Michel to fill in).

You're right, I've now seen the light. Chubbs injury was devastating and without it UGA might just have beaten tVOLS by 40

Losing your best D-tackle, half your offensive lineman, your team captain/senior/ and arguably best player on defense, and your 2 leading receivers doesn't hurt at all according to some Georgia fans.

This is the SEC. You should have the depth to replace them.

4 coaches in 6 years will do that to you.

This is the first time in a long time we have SEC depth/experience at all positions

Tennessee won. Georgia lost. I expect, as do most, the same result this year.

The "what if" scenarios are for losers.

You can't be serious but if so, Which Vol defender is gonna go down once we retaliate?

Michel is a different kind of back. Chubb is the one who made everything go with power running between the tackles. That's not Michel's game, although he can do it some. The power runs up the middle made the entire Georgia offense work. Take that away, take the offense away.

Tennessee deserves credit for winning, and no, Chubb didn't play defense too, but he probably would have taken possessions away from Tennessee by moving the chains and keeping control of the ball.

Nor did he protect it or add to it.

I hear they changed the ticket image now to a beautiful picture of Walker/Dooley Field with slogan "This year we play on a field that doesn't suck donkey dick".
