Georgia is Not Getting Caleb Williams
OU boosters put together a NIL package that was too low for the Williams family. Georgia did the same and was told too low as well. Caleb's dad is running this show.

There is literally a former NFL QB coach on staff. Don’t let Gus PTSD get to you bro.

He’s not worth getting if we lose everyone !

Lol! It's $1M% about the money! If you're a superstar you're going to get into the league wherever you go in college. This is all about the money.. I do not blame these kids for having these opportunities and pursuing them, but let's just be real. It's all about the money.

If it's about development wouldn't he strongly consider Georgia? He would get to play against NFL talent on defense every single day.
That's significantly better development than playing against soft PAC-12 defenses and spreading it out every game.

I agree with you to an extent, but if it's truly about development wouldn't staying with Jeff Lebby be a pretty decent option? This is about money and his dad is running the show. Sound familiar Auburn fans?
Anyway, I think the world of Caleb Williams. Tons of potential. Enormous leadership on the field and in the locker room, and he has phenomenal playmaking abilities however... He is 100% undeveloped at checking receivers and reading defenses. I'm not saying he cannot improve in this area, but as of the last game of the season with Oregon, he still wasn't. Yes, he did look good against Oregon but they were running man coverage the whole night. Caleb struggles deeply with zone coverage defense. Whoever gets him will get a hell of a quarterback, but I'm not 100% sold he's worth the money that might be getting tossed at him.

He’s staying at OU apparently. Whole thing was to get a big NIL deal.

Where on Earth are you hearing this? "Apparent" news like this would be rampant in the Twitterverse and I'm seeing nothing that indicates he's staying.

Is Mario Williams and Caleb Williams a package deal?

Very much so, yes. Mario will go wherever CW goes.

Well I think Mario almost went to Bama. I was hoping we might pick up another portal gem like last year.

Kirby would be the one that decides one way or another. I don't think he's given the situation too much attention.
I mean if CW waits until the game, UGA will strongly pursue him. Kind of let's them know where his shortlist stands.

I'd expect Jalil Farooq to also hit the portal sometime today or tomorrow as well. He, Mario and CW are best buds and all came in together. That entire Lincoln Riley wide receiver class is pretty much gone.

Lane left room for transfers in this signing class. So have room and need for all three.

HE IS not staying at OU...... He and his family were asked to commit to OU on Sunday and said no.....then OU said if you won’t commit we will go out and get our QB..he still did not commit.....OU then signed Gabriel
It s 100% all about the money, furthermore next season’s end he will jump imo the portal again, to get even more money, it is legal, and he can do it based on his existing reputation.... he is working the system ... he may as well get what he can while he can
FYI our 2022 class QB Nic Evers established an NIL that gives 100% of the money to the “ Make a wish Foundation” that provides a wish to dying kids....
From what I read online Georgia and Auburn and USC are all being asking to make their bids, as well as anywhere else ....

Would be weird considering that they have Brock VG on roster and Gunner coming in. JT is likely gone, I'd imagine, but with those two others, they should be in good shape in the qb room for next year.

I don't know. It looks to me like UGA has developed Stetson Bennett pretty well. Can they develop a 5* player would be a more legitimate question
