Georgia is 3-6 in SEC title games all played in Atlanta. Just pityful.

Game is played an hour from campus in a Bulldog city in Atlanta and can't even go .500.
Who let them dogs out.

Now tell me Ole Miss' record there and lets see which one is pathetic.

For it being a pseudo-home site for UGA, their record in Atlanta is embarrassing . They also have a loss in the national title game and a loss to Boise St in Atlanta

What’s OLE Miss record?

To be fair, they haven’t been beaten by scrubs.
2003 LSU
2019 LSU
2011 LSU
2012 Bama
2021 Bama
4 played for the National Championship, 3 won it, and the last is the favorite to win it all

No one can ever say Georgia has a built-in advantage then with SEC CG's in Atlanta.

Well I guess if you never go, you cannot lose...

In fairness to them they have had to play Bama in 3 of them.

I think Mark beat Les one year, Kirby not so much.

Never lost in the SEC title game. We are the 2015 national champs by Mississippi farmer monthly magazine.

Lol right because OM and UGA are totally on an equal playing field

0-3 against Alabama
1-3 against LSU
1-0 against Auburn
1-0 against Arkansas
In other relevant games in Atlanta
Lost to Alabama in 2018 in CFP Title game
Lost to Boise in 2011 season opener
Beat Boise in 2005 season opener
Lost to UVA in 1995 Peach Bowl
Beat UVA in 1998 Peach Bowl
Lost to WVU in 2005 Sugar Bowl (played in Atlanta due to Katrina)
Their all-time record in the GA Dome and Mercedes Benz is 5-10. Not great

You could make it 2-6 with a 3rd * win when KJ was hurt.

Do you think we will rotate the SECCG in the future? Even though UGA hasn't had a ton of success in ATL - its still a little unfair that the game is in their backyard.

Sure they do. It just hasn't been enough. I didn't get to go this time but in 2018 that crowd felt almost like a Georgia home crowd. It's definitely an advantage.

You dont want the game in your backyard. You want a business trip. I have known this since WVU beat us in the Katrina Sugar Bowl in Atl.
I want the team on a business trip out of their usual surroundings and their clibgers as far away as possible.

We liked it in Birmingham, and LSU fans didn't mind.
