Young hasn't played against a good "D" yet. Dawgs will beat him down. He's not that good. He will get rattled early.

Pretty much the same defense as last year, of which Bennett threw 3 picks against.

You still haven't scored an offensive TD on Clemson. You might want to stay tuned as well.

Do you seriously think that Auburn's score vs Alabama State is indicative of a very good team?

How about the fact that Georgia STATE led Auburn, at home, all game till the refs saved Auburn in the last minute?

UGA is a good team and has a great defense, but I think it's a fact they have not faced a very good offense. If Alabama makes it to the SEC title game, that will be their first real test.

Not really. And I can say the same for Bama...the SEC championship will be the first real DEFENSE Bama sees.

Clemson has scored 49
Auburn has scored 60 and 62 points

But you may have a point. Georgia hasn't played anybody capable of scoring more than 13 on them.

but I am a little confused. Are you complaining because nobody can score on Georgia, or are you complaining because Texas A&M score 41 points and Tennessee score 24 points on your defense?

Georgia has given up 13 points or fewer in every game this year. Alabama has held only one opponent to below 13 all year.

Just for clarification....what is the benchmark for a good offense?

I do tend to agree with you, but "good" is very subjective and vague. I mean the bar can be raised or lowered to support an argument.

So what would a good offense look like?
Is it based on yards PG, Points PG or what?

Most people would say Texas A&M has a pretty bad offense, yet they scored 41 on Alabama. Does that indicate Alabama's defense is horrible? Tennessee score 24.

Would you consider Florida a "good" offense?
I am just trying to figure out what people mean when they say we have not faced a good offense.

Last year indicates this year?

Is Alabama's offense as good this year as last year? Is Georgia's defense as good last year as it is this year?

Things do tend to change one year to the next.
Do you believe any of Alabama's players have improved from last year?

I am not an altar I legitimately only have one account and this is it.

It seems that everyone on here who isn't a 10 plus year poster is called an altar. I'm starting to wonder if this site actually only has about a dozen members.

I do not. As I stated previously, I was merely trying to show that the person I was replying to was not factual in their statement about UGA not playing anyone who can score 50+ points.
