I don't think the throwing windows are going to be as tight for Stetson as you think they will be if you give up 200 yards on the ground.
It depends on how efficient the 200 comes.
I also think Georgia wins comfortably, so keep that in mind.

I am feeling good about Oregon’s offense. Our path to keeping this close is our offense taking advantage of the inexperience on Georgia’s defense.

I would say that's very accurate.

OK. First question. Looks like Oregon is returning very little in the way of previous production in the running game. Cardwell has 61 career carries and only 15 for Dollars. Am I missing something here, or is this a pretty large question mark coming into the season?

This was the biggest question mark headed into Spring. You are missing nothing. The best news out of spring practice is the RB room. That's the one unit that has resolved its questions.
There's a lot of buzz surrounding Noah Whittington and its coming from trusted sources.

Resolved? I'm not sure I agree that spring practice can "resolve" such a big question mark, especially when you look at how small two of the top three guys are (ht and wt from PFF):
WKU transfer Wittington - 5'10" 190 lbs
Sean Dollars - 5'10" 171 lbs
Byron Cardwell - 6'0" 210 lbs

This game will be closer to that result. I remember that game being good in the first half though.

DeAnthony Thomas was small.

Would you consider that the exception or the rule?

The last 3 seasons UGA has been damn near otherwordly at stopping the run. 2019 was elite but could've been a blip, but 2020 was stellar as well and 2021 was obviously one of the best defenses ever. Combine that with the fact Oregon has no proven run game and we're basically saying "can bo nix lead the offense to enough points to win" which I think any uga fan on the planet would feel super comfortable with. That guy has been absolutely owned by UGA his entire career.

On to the WRs. Looks like from the depth chart these are the starters (stats from PFF):
Kris Hutson 5'11" 168 lbs
31 rec for 416 yds and 2 TDs
Troy Franklin 6'2" 169 lbs
18 rec for 209 yds and 2 TDs
Dont'e Thornton 6'5" 197 lbs
9 rec for 175 yds and 2 TDs
I don't see anyone who will really stress the defense here.

The last 3 seasons
We had Jordan Davis the last 3 seasons. And our record isnt great when he was not starting (2018 LSU and Texas, 2019 South Carolina, 2020 Florida)
We will have to play differently to stop the run in 2022.

I think you overstated the role of his absences in those games. We can stop the run with or without him on the field.

I want people to make up their minds.
Was Jordan Davis an overweight space-taker who couldn't be a 3 down lineman? Or was he the linchpin of a generationally elite defense?

Sean Dollars played at 200+. Cardwell came in at 210 as a true frosh and there aren't any spring weights.
Whittington is smaller back.
We can sit here and look at it on paper and say it's a queston mark and I'd agree. On paper the unit is a question mark.
It's not a worry for me. I am much more concerned with the secondary and the health of the DL.

Troy and Dont'e were true freshmen last year. They got a run at the end of the year when 3 seniors got hurt.
It's a WR room with a lot of athleticism.
Those listed weights are as worthless as tits on a boar.

Any spots that have more current ht/wt?

No. For some reason Lanning isn’t posting updated weights. Lanning has played everything close to the vest.
With the recent run of elite WRs, I have no idea why it matters. Olave, Smith, JSN, et al don’t have impressive height/weight combinations.
Hutson said he’s 176, Franklin said he was 180. That was this week. They also have the off-season to hit their playing weight.
Cota, Brevard, Thornton and Kasper will be bigger WRs.
Franklin is skinny but he’s sublime. Hutson is a dog.

What unicorns at OLB? They return their OLB who weren’t All-SEC picks last season. Do you mean their ILBs?Hate to be a nit-picking prick but for someone who claims to “watch more college football than anyone” you don’t seem to back it up with your extensive knowledge. No offense
