Dude, the freshman NC State QB fumbled twice in his own territory in the 1st quarter. These fumbles led to Clemson being up 28-0 in the 1st quarter. NC State’s QB against Clemson was a freshman starting his first game and he completely collapsed and gave the game away in the first. UT played against their senior starting QB who played well even under pressure.
You’re comparing a team’s performance when led by a senior starting QB vs being led by a freshman QB in his first start without acknowledging that shows you know nothing about football

It's true that transitive property doesn't work in football.
It's also true that Clemson looked better against NCSU than Tennessee did until each team's backups entered the game.
