The nineties sucked and Myer is human waste. I hate that he beat us like a drum, but Steve Spurrier is a national treasure.

I finally have a sense of calm surrounding my thoughts on Georgia football

Just happy that 1980 is dead and gone, and our rivals can now shite talk us based on the results on the field any given season, and not on what we haven't done in 4 decades.

They threw trash on the field during the title game. During the NATIONAL TITLE GAME. I say this because we got dragged and they get *crickets*. The media determines a ton of what is 'bad' or 'obnoxious' by giving it a mention and going on and on about it.

Were we throwing batteries at Nick Saban?

1. We didn't throw batteries. 2. You completely missed the point and got defensive instead. I'll help you out - reread the last sentence.

To be fair, the context of that is very different.

I was a section below someone who sent a water bottle flying, and it was barely 5 seconds later that Lucas Oil had the fan code of conduct up.

They had their trigger finger ready for that button knowing that they had 2 SEC fanbases in there

But no, I agree with your point. I think it was also easy to gloss over because there was still a whole quarter left to play, and about 26 more points to be scored. So they were able to pivot and ignore.

Yes, one did it in the biggest game of the year whereas another did it after a series of bad calls at home.

Honestly, fans are gonna get mad and do shite, especially when there's a lot on the line. And I don't blame anyone for getting a little flustered. It's just crazy that we single one group out and act like they're any different from every other fanbase.

The Rant is really a microcosm of this.

It's just a bunch rednecks/hicks calling one another rednecks/hicks. All of our fanbases are virtually identical in make up.

ETA: Except you Vandy, fricking nerds

Wish we'd have thrown a car battery at the refs.

I think you’ll find UGA fans in general to be much more relaxed now. It’s hard to be good year after year, great some years, and NEVER quite win the last game. It’s worst to do it for 4 decades plus.

Georgia has Always seemed like a pretty down to earth fan base. Their highs aren’t too high and their lows aren’t too low. Unlike our schizophrenic fan base

I'm 1,000% about to be a different person at every game. I'll still want to win and will be going hard for the Dawgs, but I'll no longer be on a razor's edge where winning and losing is everything.
