Those bushes are English privet. They have decorated our sidelines since 1929. Of course some prefer chain link fences and a rusty old hulk of a stadium. There is no accounting for taste. Some have it and some don’t. Yes I AM talking about UT and LSU.

We are enjoying it. Immensely! We especially enjoyed last Saturday afternoon. Nothing like drinking whiskey in the rain while destroying the hill billies from east Tennessee

Florida rushed the field after the cocktail party in 1984. The mayor of Jacksonville was so thrilled he said Jacksonville would be happy to pay for new goalposts each and every year if UF won. The next year UGA won and our students took the field where they were beat with billy clubs and arrested by Jax police. This didn’t sit well with UGA officials and Jacksonville was warned that unless we were treated equally Georgia would not be coming to Jacksonville anymore. An apology was quickly issued and for several years after the sidelines were filled with cops on horseback guarding the goalpost to make sure no one dared take then down. So UF did rush the field -,once at least. Other than a very few stretches of success there has been no worry of Florida doing that

Hey, I'm gonna storm the field after every game if I can. I was down there Saturday and I was down there 2 weeks ago vs Ole Miss. I was down there vs Florida in 1996 and against Bama in 2000, and Auburn in 2001... I think. I've done it so many times I lose track.
And it's so undeniably fricking awesome that I'm gonna do it as much as I possibly can.
Sorry if you boys are too cool for it. It really is amazing though if you ever get the chance.
