I agree with SOME of his points, but don’t throw 3 picks and you will not be in that position!

I don't think there's a quicker way to identify a loser than someone who blames the refs.

And this is why Georgia Tech is the most relevant college football program in the state.

Quote from Article is an outright lie.

quote:

Stokes never put his hands on the wide-receiver

He clearly had his hands on Smith when he made his first move (ball was in the air) and when Smith turned up into endzone.

Sure the contact was not egregious (the rules are a huge advantage for offense) but there was contact by the defender, twice, that if did not happen Smith catches that ball 9 of 10 times and scores a TD.

The UGA DBs couldn't cover Waddle and were grabbing and holding him almost every route he ran. They knew they were beat and holding is better than another long TD.

What a bitch arse letter.

That being said, the suspicious PI call that led to a TD instead of the FG changed the entire rest of that game.

If they’re riled about this - imagine one of you douchebag entitled fanbases having our recent screw job happen to you.

lol there was more contact with Pickens and a Bama DB the drive before and no flag was thrown. It was a bad call.

Defending that play saying it was a penalty is why it’s suspicious. Anyone with any knowledge of the game knows that wasn’t a penalty. Every single fan base on here knows it wasn’t a penalty.

It’s weird you would defend the call that everyone seems to agree was a “bad” call at an even worse place on the field and a horrendous time momentum wise in the game.

That’s too bad. Don’t remember them complaining to the refs after the “catch” though...

Ball looks controlled to me. Don’t see any indisputable evidence to over turn it. Not sure how this is similar to a PI call that can’t be reviewed though. Either way, both games had bigger issues than officiating. UGA shouldn’t complain with Stet throwing 3 picks and UF fans shouldn’t complain when their DC makes Fromm look like a Heisman candidate and Coley look like Brady.

Look i don't necessarily agree with the call but there was contact, twice. Sure it was not a lot and I wouldn't have called the PI.

It's a rules issue and DBs are in an almost no win situation. Wish they could still jam out to 5yds like in the past.

I don't know about the Pickens play you're referencing but I will take you at your word. Missed calls happen. I could find 10 missed calls on UGA if I wanted.

Y'all need to find a new QB if you want to beat Bama in a rematch. SB doesn't have the size nor talent to win a game vs Bama.

You know what, you’re right, there’s so much control there.

The same argument about stokes "competitve advantage" could be made for the Surtain nudge in the back on a tackler that waddle already alluded. Took the ball from the 40 to inside 10 and gave UGA great position after the punt

On the intentional grounding...Najee slips out and is coming across down the LOS (to where the ball was "grounded" )but...the LB has his hands around Najees waist ..is he the outlet to be in "the area"

I saw 1 second on the clock inb the replay...

I’m not saying officiating determined the outcome of that game. Just that the PI called referenced was a bad call. Especially when they kept their flag in their pocket on a similar play a drive earlier.

Agreed. Stetson’s second half int’s cost UGA far more than officiating.

Would you say that was more costly than Grantham letting UGA convert every 3rd and long of the game?
