There's really not a need for a 9 game conference schedule. The SEC does not have any problem putting teams in the playoffs.

Puzzling?

The only conference game that matters is the SECCG.
It is the biggest conference game of the year.

That was a dig at LSU.
If LSU wants to play UGA more often, they should first bitch about adding a&m and mizzou. You don't add teams when the demand is to rotate schedules faster.

Second... give up the crap games in the west. LSU shouldn't be forced to play 6 west teams. Scrap that, and you can rotate all teams faster.

Agreed. People like to bitch. In today's political environment, bitching means you have something important to say.

Yes, I’m picking... LOL.... I really don’t care how it is done... more creative scheduling is needed.... Fans like to go to new places and the people there like to see new teams.... Fan attendance is becoming a problem..... You would think the people in the SEC hierarchy would be working to fix it....

UGA went to Note Dame last season. Scheduled Texas.
We see Clemson at least once a decade (sometimes twice).
We've been to colorado, Arizona state, Oklahoma state.

You know.... there is a lot more than just the SEC. And the fans dig it.

You stupid Bama frick.

Scheduling OOC Power 5's came after that as far as the "Strength of Schedule" argument goes.

What exists is a NEED to equalize the SEC in terms of scheduling. It gives everyone more in-conference teams to play year after year and cuts out
1 unnecessary game (you still have two more to play OOC--however you chose as a University).

Let your State tell you what it wants in terms of legislation. You'll just have to count that game as one of your three cupcakes.

That is not the rest of the 10 remaining SEC Member's faults.

I'm embarrassed that you live in Georgia.

The SEC isn't giving up TV and attendance revenue for 7 games per year.

Why? To be more like the pac 10?

Kudos to Georgia and I mean that.... I admire their scheduling.... Maybe a lot of this will be resolved in the next several years with the next expansion.... Most people think it will be to 24 teams rather than the16 that most of us have envisioned.... that will be a whole new ballgame....

Every single SEC team did that in OOC in 2018.

Are Uga fans stupid?

Georgia Tech is perfectly content on winning 6-7 games a year with the occasional victory over their arch-rival. At least Tennessee is TRYING to get back into the ranks of the elite. Those nerds in Atlanta are merely content with going to a bowl game every season.

Tech claims 16 conference championships (9 outright).

That 9 is more than Florida.

They will eventually come around and make the COFH rivalry a 3:30pm gametime again.

Are you actually condoning Auburn to going to the East?

I was taking up for Mississippi State.

Are you afraid for extra SEC Teams visiting Starkville every decade?

Grow some balls.

Only one of which was won in the lifetime of their current roster of players. And only three of the 16 were won after the 1950s.

Jesus. At least have the dignity to formulate a good argument.

Stop making UGA fans look bad.

I agree. Paul Johnson is a drag on the team. But they had success under Bobby Ross and George OLeary. And they recruited well under Chan Gailey.

Going all in on ol turkey neck was dumb and they are paying the piper for it. But he won't be there forever.

If they fire him and try to move away from the triple option, they'll suck for 2-3 years, but they could definitely rise back to relevance with the right coach.

Also, I'd be very happy not having to see UGA face that god-forsaken offense every year.
