Clearly you can challenge it. You SHOULD be able to since it is so subjective...and SEC refs typically blow.

That's why the ejection should come from the booth and not from the refs on the field. That rule is complete bullshite

Ejection ruling is automatically reviewed. It can be reversed and the player can stay, but the 15 yd penalty remains regardless.
