I'll take the K but that was one of those times where the ump goes in dry on the hitter.. After he called the first breaking ball a strike it changed the entire AB... That first pitch was 7 inches off the plate.

Our announcer was talking about this earlier how in the post season umps change the zone.

Does anybody have any clue as to how Bianco decides when to sub? Why bring helsel in? He must have thought overbey gave us the best chance to win to start him so why sub for him in the middle of the game? Why not sub for him last inning? Why this inning?

The announcer said overbey was slow on a ground ball earlier. Maybe he's tired or he might have pulled something. At this point I'll take another bat in the game, maybe he'll break through.

overbey is in the game for his bat. If he is going to make a defensive substitution then why not make it the previous inning after overbey had his at bat? but instead we waited and let overbey have another inning in the field
