Game of the Century 2019 was way better than 2011

Just a better, more enjoyable football game. Actual good quarterback play, competent offenses and every play felt like it could change the ball game.

Not saying every game needs to be in the 40’s, but anyone who claims they enjoyed 2011’s game more than that is lying to themselves.

I only enjoyed 9-6 because LSU won.

Both will end up meaning nothing in the long run. But I agree.

Both of those defenses would be a handful for either of those offenses. The score would not have been in the 40s with those defenses.

No, but it would’ve been a 28-24 kind of game, which still would’ve been much better.

Yeah, 2011 was a trash rock fight between admittedly fantastic athletes held back by their coaches (offensively at least)

Last night was a pretty entertaining game, obviously a big portion of the game wasn’t close so this won’t be the game of the year or anything like that, but it was fun and had some drama late

Our 2011 team vibe was “We will fricking wreck you” 2019 coming in with a “you’re gonna take it and you’re gonna like it” vibe.

As an LSU fan I still prefer 2011 and nothing will probably ever top that game

It will come to the same conclusion. LSU will play #4 Bama in the playoffs...

They should just call it Bama's mulligan game.

It was actually the Game of the Century of The Year

Ohio State vs. Penn State would have been Game of The Century of The Year 2 but now it will probably be Ohio State vs. Minnesota

Game of the Century without the top team by the only official ranking is impossible. Game of the Century of The Year is possible!

Here’s the interesting part - the most likely scenario for Bama not making the playoffs is for us to beat y’all in the SECCG.

SOOOOO, it’s actually in yalls best interest to hand us the SEC title in December.

No? Well, it was worth a shot.

Vegas disagrees..., They have the 4th best odds.
