We should just bunt every at bat. We are kings of small ball and when its not working, we have no power hitters to drive in runs. Childress loves recruiting the 5'9" - 5'10" dudes that are quick and hit singles.

And of course, frick, SCAR pitching shut us down pretty hard as well.

One heck of a game tonight, good game Aggies.

It seems like Beals stuff isn't good enough to get through these SEC lineups multiple times. He was completely dominating A&M hitters the first time around, second time around they got some good ABs & strung some runs together to take that early 2-0 lead.

Pitching was again fantastic tonight, I could care less honestly about the 10 hits given up. What really matters is the 2 runs in my book, Westy & Webb dealed again it's been awesome to finally see Westy at his best when fully healthy.

Our hitting is just god awful atm, a true freshman chewed us up for 5 straight innings, gotta wonder how pissed he is after pitching that gem of a game tonight.

I honestly thought it was the right move, I would've done the same thing in his position. With a 2-0 lead & the leading run at the plate you don't want to take any chances & play the lefty/lefty matchup, plus LB's struggled mightly against lefties all year long. You could see in that inning that he was starting to wear down, I was even calling it after Pankake got his single & knocked English to 3rd that he'd go to the lefty in the pen b4 he even came out of the dugout.

Oh yeah, Minter was a leftie. duh.
