Sankey is a bitch who gets played at every turn.

All Bama had to do was not shite the bed and they were in regardless of result.
Well they shite the bed.
And they’re probably still going to be in because of reasons….

The benefit is high value inventory for Disney, that alone will keep the game as is.
You can make any argument you want against the game, but it’s pointless.

Should just do season champion instead. Avoid the extra game.
I agree, but the minute you do people will bitch that someone won because of strength of conference schedule that year.

Without divisions the game is pointless and boring. Just another effect of having the worst commish in SEC history and the country. Shankey needs to be removed before it's too late.

besides money
But this is all that matters.
More and more fans are going to start realizing that it's not just all about money, but it's all about their money.
When I gave up my season tickets some years back, I realized that it's no longer about student athletes, loyalty or tradition, just money - my money. It's gotten now to where not only can I not really follow players for 4 and 5 years as they mature through the program, but even the experience in the stadium has very little resemblance to when I was in school. It's more like going to a Saints game in the dome now.
I don't make any money on college football, why should I care about other people making money on it? More and more I find that I care about it less and less.

Until you have a FULL ROUND-ROBIN schedule, there's no way to tell who's better than whom.
Case-in-point: you think Duke was going to be good enough for the ACCCG?
