I would say we're impressive in fb, so expansion should boost other sports/areas.

I'm not sure why, but I have a suspicion that Duke, UNC, and VA will go Big 10.

Tulane, SMU, Rice, Miami, Duke and they all go into a Magnolia Division w/Vandy.

What's the fricking point?

Just to dilute the SEC brand even more than it already has been?

If everyone is SEC, then nobody is really SEC.

The point would be establishing the best mega-conference that dominates all sports and makes sense geographically.

While the size would mean you couldn't play everyone in all things, you would in your division. How would you like to play Ole Miss, MSU, UT, UGA, & Auburn yearly in all sports? About as perfect as you can get geographically.

It makes sense and would be a big blow for the SEC to lose the chance to lock down the Atlantic coast.

Am I in the minority in thinking things will calm down for a bit on the expansion front?

I had a debate with a Notre Dame fan about 10 years ago and he claimed that inevitably the SEC and all conferences would fall apart. That it was the natural way things went.
