This may be the worst Hog team I can remember. If I think about it long enough, probably not, but it's close.

Out defense is horrible. We just gave up 500+ to one of the worst offenses in the country. We will not win another game this season imo. Our job is going to be a lot more unattractive in December than it was in August.

The mistake wasn't firing Petrino.
The mistake was hiring John L.

JLS wasn't a good hire but I'm not sure what else we were going to do. There were no available "real" head coaches that would do the job long-term, so we knew we had to get someone for the season. None of the assistant coaches would have been good hires.

Ultimately, all of this falls on Bobby Petrino.
