Question: if LSU and other schools could find out that the 2022 kids that only want to come back for 5th year had some sore throats at some time during their college tenure; and they can get a judge to agree that this warrants a 5TH year, is everything cool now?

I don’t really blame them for trying. Particularly because they knew that it was a slam dunk. Unpopular opinion, but they should win that case, with an impartial judge, anywhere in the country. It’s not that he shouldn’t be ineligible per NCAA rules… it’s that, except in rare circumstances, the NCAA has no authority to restrict the player ability to earn.

Face it… eventually an NFL player cut after 6 or 7 years will be able to enroll and play anywhere that wants him. The age and years rules are arbitrary. It’s not Ole Miss’ fault, or any other player or school driving player actions. No antitrust exemption will lead to enrolled = eligible.
