That supports Dave van horn. He doesn’t give a damn about his pitcher’s careers. It is wonderful watching him fail every postseason.

I think throwing Hagen Smith today was unwise, but he's hardly the only coach to do it. Multiple other coaches have thrown a weekend starter on 2 days (or fewer) rest today.
Tough to balance the desire to win (both the coach and the kids, who I'm sure are all for it) with the desire to take care of their future.
