FSU and Miami were originally asked in 1990 when the SEC decided to expand. They said no.
Just like GT and Tulane for leaving, they will regret their mistake for many years to come.

Should be about the athletic product and schools that actively invest in accelerating their worth. The schools that have top 25 media value/traveling fan bases in all SEC sports (football, bball, baseball, softball, etc.) should be considered, not schools that rely on a name that was valuable 20+ years ago. It’s like saying “oh add Houston for their market”, or ga tech for ATL”, when those schools would get creamed in every single sport year round.

Free Shoes & Clemmie are out.
I think we stay at 16.

But if we were to expand then a BIG FAT NO to GT, MIA, FSU and Clemmie.

That cuts down your possibilities to a school in NC and VA and then possibly ND. That gets you to 18 or 19. But if you do that then you make it an even 20. At that point, I am not sure who the next team would be.

I am predicting we stay at 16. No real need to expand. Plus the conference needs to digest these two (who have yet even play a game in any sport) before anything else.
And nobody is going to be culled so get that out of your pea sized brains.
