I been ignoring this all day. But, I can't take it. YES. They DID. To be the SEC champ, Bama had to beat Georgia. Georgia was the #1 ranked team in the country going into the SEC-CG.

OTOH, to be the ACC Champ, FSU had to beat Louisville. Louisville was ranked 18 (?), had 2 losses.

You can't look at that and see how being the SEC champ means more than being the ACC champ?
