Our fraud of a coach also went there and beat you in your own stadium. It happens to be the only Time Sark has beat any team in the top five. That has to be embarrassing.

I'm sure we heard the same thing when Bryant left, but then Stallings won a national championship.
We probably heard the same thing when Frank Thomas left, but Bryant came in and was the GOAT.
Alabama has had 5 coaches win national titles, 3 of whom won multiple. We were already in the top 3 in total national titles before Saban stepped on campus, and had more SEC titles than any other school before then as well.
At some point people need to learn pattern recognition.

Nil and the portal have changed all that. You just don't know it yet.
Bama will always be competitive and have talent. No argument there. NIL and the portal prevent any one or two teams from stockpiling talent. You can no longer out talent everyone like before. You were dominated this year by an FSU team that lost to Virgina.

Best one they had since, they ran out on a rail. To their credit; however, Mack had lost his fire and was just cashing checks. But had they kept him he would have been perfect for this NIL era.
And they also wouldn't have had to endure the psycho Hermann and the over his head Chollie.
