I think I'll trust Rivals.com's analysis of Brown's talents over a bunch of LSU and Bama fans'.
Something tells me those guys are the actual experts.
College football must have a really crappy future the way that overrated Brown guy was schooling all of tomorrow's top players at the All American Game on his way to the MVP.

The AA Game is nothing more than a playground contest for entertainment purposes.

Jesus Christ. Kiffin can't do anything right with you guys can he?
Its awesome that the practices are like this. Hold nothing back. We're not good enough right now to worry about injuries. These guys have to learn how to hit and get hit.
I agree. The benifit from hard hitting practices far outweigh the possibility of getting someone dinged. UT will be a better team this year because of it and it you guys get average QB play will play a role in who wins the conference. I hope UT takes Ole Miss to the shed.

Disagree, if you watch those games closely you can pretty much tell who's going to be a star and who isn't.
Case in point 2005 Army AA game. Mitch Mustain considered the golden child, Tebow and Stafford considered second tier coming into the game. Mitch had a horrible game, the others did well. Well, we all see how that worked out.

It doesn't matter what Kiffin did in practice, all the rantards would say he's an idiot for doing it.
Presonally, I'm glad he's doing it, because after watching us battle in the trenches last year I think he needs to get our team tougher.

Who has a good game and who doesn't is an indicator of their college career....
I'll try to post add'l info if I can stop laughing

I like how still he can keep his 40 so still. It takes skill to be that fricked up and not spill a drop.

Some of us are the best at what we do.

I recall some years ago when LSU was going thru some tough times, one of our HCs, think it was Hallman, conducted a really tough Fall camp...lots of hitting...the team didn't have any "legs" for the season...they were so tired/injured coming out of Fall camp...hope Coach Foot-n-Mouth at Tenn. knows what he's doing...you can't get guys "off the wire" to replace injured guys in college ball...of course, with all his experience coaching college, I'm sure he knows that, right?

I hope that the Kiffster keeps it up. I personally could give a crap what he does with the creamsicle kids. I was just stating a fact. Most coaches wouldn't do that anymore.
These are not the unlimited scholly days like back when Bryant ran the Junction Boys at A&M or the lower gym at Alabama. I just think it will be interesting to see what the casualty rate is during Tennessee's camp as compared to others. Injuries will happen regardless, but most coaches have learned to protect their assets.
BTW...The Junction Boys had a horrible season following their trip to Junction. They were too beat up to compete and had lost too many players. Bryant's worst season record as a coach. 2-7

Everybody is in FULL PADS..nobody has gotten hurt so far...Brown had a tough 13 yard run for a TD today...People who have watched the practices up there for years..have said it is NIGHT and DAY between the way Kiffin's staff and Fulmer's staff did things....Fulmer had gotten soft and let the kids run the Candy store..and as far as going overboard..You got Monte who is running the defense and Chaney who is running the offense..They will handle the stuff on the field...High level..High energy yes..This boot camp, Frank Kush, Les Steckel crap ain't going on up in Knoxville...

Okay. You're right. UT is going to dominate and be one helluva team this year. 10 or 11 wins and a Heisman for Eric Berry is probable. Hell, Kiffin might win a NC in his first year if the cards fall right.
We're not really doubting the genius of Kiffin and his staff, we're whistling in fear through the graveyard.
WILD BOYZ!!!

I get the sarcasm but nobody is gonna miss Fulmer over there clapping like a damned trained seal after every play good or bad..
He did great things for UT..but it was time to move on..Hopefully we will be OK..

So which one is it? In one post you talk about how it's impossible for us to go 12-0. If that's the case, who cares if we get hurt. Hell, everyone knows we won't be competitive until at least 2011 due to our QB situation and lack of OL depth. So, IMO, instilling toughness in the program, even if it means a few injuries, is fine until we get to a point that the injuries prevent championships.
