Doesn't seem like the police have a suspect, so that would make Collins not currently a suspect.

That's not misleading, that's factual

It's interesting that LSU folks seem to be pissed that the BRPD are actually doing their job, as is Schefter. This IS a news story after all. A woman was killed and you guys are pissed that Collins is on the periphery of that story?

personally i have zero issue with any of the reporting so far. a woman is dead and collins is obviously a suspect. no matter whawt the BRPD says publicly. He's OBVIOUSLY a suspect.

He should take "not" out and leave currently. It would probably make it more accurate.

anyone who thinks the ex boyfriend and potentially father of the child isnt a suspect needs to watch some more cop shows.

He is surely a suspect. Hate to say it, but we might be looking at a another Rae Carruth situation. Had some friends take care of her and the unwanted child, who thankfully survived.

Best believe those phone and text records will be gone thru thoroghly.

the questioning is probably to determine if the child is even his.

there would no reason for the police not to name him as a suspect if he was a suspect

He probably had nothing to do with this whole unfortunate thing. It may have been a random killing (unlikely). But to say he's not a suspect simply b/c the police haven't named him a suspect is shortsighted and, perhaps, a result of P&G glasses.

Perhaps...just not sure why they wouldn't say he was a suspect if he actually is a suspect

I see you are wrong on two boards. 100% it is wrong to say Collins is a suspect. He is not a suspect in the murder of Mills according to the cops or the definition of the word

a person thought to be guilty of a crime or offense.

So to call him one is wrong. If at any point he becomes a suspect, it will then be correct to call him one. Too many people have no idea what the word suspect means

Do i really need to lay out why the police wouldnt want to tip their hand at this point, especially when one of their suspects is 7 states away?
