Good observation. I have thought the same thing because of the losses he took with no run support. Now he has some but mentally can't get out of that mindset that it's still all on his shoulders. He needs to relax and go out one game with confidence he now has run support. The guy has some nasty stuff, it's just not there lately. We are going to need him if we make post season play. He is supposed to be our best pitcher.

Georgia baseball has been a pleasant surprise this year but we will probably still get smacked around by Florida. They are looking really good again.

He only had three pitches until this year. Tyler Stovall, our former holder and former MLB minor league pitcher taught him how to effectively throw cutting fastballs. Stovall is now a grad assistant for the baseball team.

If we can manage 1 win against each of Arkansas and Florida I'll feel good. If we can actually win a series against either of those teams, I'll feel ecstatic.
At this point, I'm hoping we can hit 37 wins by the end of the regular season and pick up another 1 or 2 in the SEC tournament. Should be good enough to put us in the top 16 to host a regional in Athens. I don't expect much beyond that but it would be invaluable experience for the program as we should return all but 2 guys from this year's team next season (pending some weird draft decisions)
