Football team recruiting rating for 2025, hell we aren't even beating out Duke. SMU is murdering us.

Our basketball program is in shambles.

I'll just be a baseball fan I think and leave it at that since our baseball program has had recent success. What little money I have will go to baseball and that leaves nothing - NOTHING!! - for NIL money to football and basketball players.

Screw them. I'm sick of it.

Baseball and that's it. And I love tailgating and seeing all the world class pretty girls at the tailgates, and the cold chicken strips and bourbon. Other than that, I'll just let everyone go on into the stadium and I'll stay outside in my tent and drink and watch the shite on TV, or better yet, change the channel to MLB.

Yeah… I hate this shite too. Having to re-recruit your whole fricking team every year is re-god-damn-ridiculous.

NIL was an awful idea. I thought when they said "pay players," they meant like a monthly stipend on top of a scholarship.

I think/hope NIL will drastically change soon.

NIL is a travesty. Worse is the lack of leadership from the NCAA to the point that they've now been neutered legally and can do absolutely nothing at this point.

Obviously all of the Arkansas talent is going to Mizzou in FB and BB. Why would this week be any different?

the problem is athletes will sue for any NIL restrictions the NCAA places on them

The change will have to come at the conference level but even that might result in lawsuits. Even conference leadership and their members leadership are at a loss on how to fix the model.

I don't see how it's a sustainable model but as long as teams are willing to up the ante to outbid others it may continue to go on

I'm not even sure professional leagues could operate under this landscape without it affecting their overall bottom line.

The one thing that will hurt more then anything is if fans start to tune it out and stop going altogether. They will be playing in half empty stadiums.

They can go to Memphis or Mississippi State from now on for all I care.

I'm not paying any of them a penny, and a huge number of my friends are saying the same thing.

Your coach’s contract was a travesty. What if your boosters used that money to get and keep players instead of firing a coach? A&M could have owned 2024/5.

It never should have gotten to this point. The NCAA and the conferences should have come up with a CBA to compensate the players. They deserved compensation but this is a complete shite show.

A player can transfer at any time without having to sit, and it is a travesty to watch. The majority of players are now mercenaries, with many incoming recruits requiring money just to visit a school. Never mind recruiting your existing team every year as well.

Not an issue at Ohio State. Our players cannot wait to come back.

Look at our recruiting rankings. It's pretty damn obvious our head coach doesn't even plan on being here anymore after this football season.

Stop….whining. Right? Instead of getting behind what saban was trying….had been saying..,for years, you idiots put personal feelings ahead of what was right. The backlash against saban went national. I hope he never says another fkn word about it.
Next time maybe the immature imbeciles on here will act like adults and help bring change back to the game we love. Until then, STFU.

This is what happens when rich old fat boomers try to control everything and end up killing the golden goose. They refused to give an inch and when the power shifted, the players took a mile. Can't blame the players, blame the old farts that ran it into the ground by refusing to be reasonable.

YOU STFU bitch

I'm done. I'm paying for baseball players only, and that's it. Money saved, I'll go get a house on Sardis Lake and fish off my back porch.
