Why would Arnett and Lane not get much playing time?

Arnett is slower than Zach Rogers and not as big. Arnett is obviously much shiftier, but I don't see him surpassing Rogers until the last third of the season at the earliest. Lane is not a gamebreaker either. Similar style to Poole and Poole is coming off a thousand yard season and is a team captain and senior. Neal is more talented than Lane anyway imo.

Poole is not being replaced. Thomas and Richardson will probably split time at OT. Zach Rogers will probably play most of the season in the slot as well unless Arnett is better than expected. Clear and Rivera could go either way.

Arnett is one of the top WR prospects in America. Where was Rogers the last half of the year. Little chance he keeps Arnett of the field.

Rogers was injured and behind Jones, Moore, Hunter, and Rogers. When healthy he is exactly what they want in the slot. Arnett is a solid prospect and obviously has a higher ceiling than Rogers, but he is tiny and doesn't have gamebreaking speed.

Marlin Lane was arguably the best RB in his class until he got hurt. If he finds that form again he will be a beast. Tom Smith is more talented than Neal.

I hope you're right because I want to see Brantley succeed. However, this last season really opened up my eyes to our QB situation.

I'd honestly throw out some of the results from last year at qb. Meyer wanted to still run his "Tebow style" spread offense with Jordan Reed & Brantley. Brantley should be the happiest person in Gainesville with Weis as his OC/QB coach .

WR is deep, I kind of agree with Volfan here.

It took Justin Hunter a few games to get acclimated, and Da'Rick Rogers didn't show his potential until late in the season. Both of those guys are substantially more gifted athletically than Arnett.

Da'Rick and Hunter are definitely our top two.

After that, Rogers, Milton, Williams(MTSU basketball transfer), Arnett, Dallas. Are all about the same to me.

Brent Benedict on OL for UGA.
Damian Swann at DB
Malcolm Mitchell for ST (if they have a KR or PR slot)

We had D moore And G Jones last year. We are talking Arnett in the slot. Zach Rogers is no D Moore or Gerald Jones.

Both are fast than Rogers. Arnett is by far the best route runner and has the best hands of the 3.
