I'm thinking some bigger schools are about to realize that Liberty has some money to throw around. It'll be harder to pull Freeze away than you think.

It's not about the money. It's about whether our boosters have the will. I doubt that they do. We're gonna keep Pruitt another year and fire him next year after someone else has already made him an offer he can't refuse.

It would be too simple to offer the guy who has told his friends that your school is his dream job.

After 5 straight double digit losses, the most in our 129 years of football, it's time to finally act in time rather than waiting. Freeze wants to be here. Fans want Freeze. Boosters and the Admin need to sack up, pony up, and swallow whatever pride they might have and bring us Freeze.

Have to get rid of Fulmer before worrying about anything else. That should be the fanbase’s primary goal.

Not with Fulmer there imo. They need to hire a legit AD first

Fulmer walked into a search where bridges were burnt and options taken off the table and stabilized it. He picked the best used car left on the lot and re-upped his NCAA credentials to salvage a recruiting class while Pruitt worked in the championship game. The AD overall is doing better than before. Football is the main issue. As much as folks want to tie Fulmer to this, this isn't on him.

There is no reason for Fulmer to be the AD. His choices were limited but that has nothing to do with his qualifications as AD. He even said himself he took the job to “stabilize things”. He is essentially a figurehead AD who dips his toes in the football program from time to time and deals with boosters while RS handles everything day to day. There is literally no reason for him to still be the AD. He made awful assistant coaching hires throughout his entire tenure as HC and allowing him to hire another HC as AD would make zero sense after seeing how this has turned out. The extension and raise for Pruitt was beyond asinine. Let Boyd and Compton get Ingram or Gilbert in here.

Are we all in agreement that Pruitt is as bad as or worse than Botch?

He’s less annoying so he has that going for
him. Dobbs may have kept Butch from being the worst coach in UT history. On the other hand Pruitt doesn’t look near as bad if he inherits a decent QB. But he’s whiffed on recruiting/coaching one up so it’s on him at this point.
