FSU QB is a redshirt. Hurts didn't play well, but he remained composed and didn't let his play spiral out of control and cause the team to lose.
Kiffins play calling is due to his lack of belief in the O-line. Bama has not had a good O-line since 2012.

He played poorly. He left a lot of points on the board and was inaccurate on lots of throws. He will improve. He just needs time. He doesn't have a strong O-line and dominant RB to lean on.
No one else left on the schedule can really challenge the Bama defense so it's all good.

Ole Miss has no run game period exclamation point....you cant throw all the time....live by the sword and die by the sword...plus OMs secondary is garbage because of the frosh playing with skinny legs and look like they weigh 165lbs. I guess the bag man didnt have $$ left over to get a few DBs?

I think it was a pretty good gameplan actually. Get their defense running sideline to sideline the entire first half to wear them down and there's always the possibility that one breaks loose. Pound them with the running game in the second half; a large amount of our offense is based on the misdirection established by the jet sweep and quick screens.
Could have done without the reverse pass on second and long though.
