LOL, why are you hung up on yards?

Our defense was better than Alabama's by far.

If you don't believe me, ask Missouri.

I should have felt that way. But the game didn't actually matter.

Which sucks and shows how much the new playoff system is pure trash.

if I'm an OU I'm worried because they had everything go their way to beat Tenn and Bama and are +10 in turnovers the last 3 games.

You can't keep that pace up. If that goes away and their offense doesn't wake up they have no shot.

Sooners are looking dangerous.

Kinda getting that '92 Alabama team feeling.

Sounds like their D did the job and gave them a short field all game.

How is that a fluke.

Cope baw. Cope.

Because you can't count on turnovers. Turnovers are part of the game, and they are also how fluke wins happen. When you take a team that is extremely outmatched and you wonder how can such a team win - the answer is always - get lucky on turnovers and special teams.

Plus, the interception was just bad refs on a terrible no call.

It shouldn't have been close and wouldn't have been close if Oklahoma was actually a good team after having a 3-0 advantage in turnover margin. That's 3 extra possessions for your team.

Not sure what I need to cope over. If you go back and read my posts before the game, I wasn't expecting Alabama to have a great game. In reality, even though we lost we played much better in terms of moving the ball and as a team than I thought we would.

I wasn't sure either team would score more than 10 points going into it. Alabama had 3 drives of 75 yards for 3 TDs. That was surprising to me big time.

OU has a good defense.

Their offense is not good at all.

If you dont help them with turnovers or a short field they really aren't a threat to beat you.

Wow!! You are still melting and its been over a week!

No matter how many times you try when you look at the outcome it still shows OU winning!

No matter how many times you look at all those stats it still shows OU winning.

Same as 2024. No matter how much you melt it still shows OU winning both years and you are really struggling with the cope.

I can just imagine your Thanksgiving meal discussion. “If only this and if only that and did you know we out gained OU in yards too. I’m going to count this game as a win”.

Yep, exactly.

They aren't even in the top50 for turnover margin either with all those good games. Alabama was in the top10 going into the game, and was still in the top20 after the game despite the 3-0 difference.

It was not normal for Alabama to be so careless with the ball. Some of that you gotta give Oklahoma credit for, and that shows up in the scoreboard. But actually evaluating the game itself is much different.

That's football, a win is a win. But I'm not going to pretend like it was because Oklahoma was the better team - that's not what I saw.

I'll still be "melting" next year too.

Or rather, that's the only response any of you will really have.

If you want my respect, then earn it.

I'm not even sure what the frick you are talking about with 2024. Just goes to show how stupid people like you are. Milroe was the problem.

And at no point did I count the Oklahoma game as a win. Again, just more bullshite you need to make up. There is a reason we aren't ranked #1 or #4 anymore.

Started to read. Made it through the first sentence before realizing...

...the melt is getting worse. I didn't believe it could yet here we are.

I mean.

Yet good DCs practice generating them and good defenses always seem to lead in that category. During Bama's glory defense days, they generated them often. Yet when it happens to Bama, somehow turnovers are a fluke. Like Bama is somehow so good, they would never have one.

Stop it guy. This is very embarassing for you.

Because when you get a turnover, they are game changing events.

I'm not stopping, keep crying.

Because I care about a teams ability to move the ball and prevent the ball from being moved when judging team strength.

Here's a little secret for you.

The yards between the 30's don't mean shite.

The endzone becomes the 12th defender as you get closer to the endzone.

Brent knows this, this is a tactic, that individuals who don't know how defense works, can't wrap their mind around.

It's actually a great way to call defense, but hey what does one of the best to ever do it know? smh...

No, it wasn't a missed PI call.

Look again. 2:48 mark. Missed throw (uncatchable by the WR) likely because the QB had to get rid of it fast to avoid a certain sack.

If they don't matter, why wasn't Oklahoma able to get them?

You're just talking about bend don't break defense, which is what Alabama plays.
