Derrick Henry: just signed a huge new contract

Leonard Fournette: just got cut after they apparently couldn’t trade him for literally anything of value.

wow.

Just so it doesn’t get lost in the shuffle!

Leonard Fournette: 1300 total yards in 2 of 3 seasons
Queen Henry: 1300 total yards in 1 of 4 seasons

Don’t let this upset you!

lol yeah facts lie.

LF had 1100 yards last year.

Trent's best year wasn't as good as LF's non injury years. In fact, LF's injury year looks like Trent's career averages.

You said he had 1000 yards every year. You’re full of shite. Move on. You are fake news.

Every year he played a full season. Oh wait are we supposed to count injury years as full years to prove your point?

You're full of shite. move on. you are fake news.

1000 yards rookie.
439 his injury year.
1100 last year.

But yeah he sucks. Top 5 rushing leader in those years too. I guess facts and stats are hard for you.

Hell, this might be a blessing for him.

It should be.

He's good enough to start and be a featured part of the offense.
He's NOT, and NOBODY is, good enough to BE the offense, not when everyone knew it as soon as he was drafted. Gameplan against the Jags was 8 guys stare at Fournette, the corners and one safety kinda sit back.

Needs to go somewhere where there's at least a passing option. If it were me, I'd look for a passing team, and hope to upgrade their run.

But I don't think he was "cut" as much as released to save money.

"Marrone said the Jaguars tried to trade Fournette but couldn't find any takers. "My question was, can we get any value? And we couldn't get any," Marrone said. "So, fifth-[rounder], sixth-[rounder] -- we couldn't get anything."."

Yeah, every team in the league is in the poorhouse.

And no, not one suck arse on this board would attempt to tackle this dude!

Seriously? That's the best you've got? Name one NFL RB that the average person on this board would try to tackle.

Guice, now Fournette.

NFL organizations need to think twice about taking LSU running backs.

Ouch. That's gonna leave a mark.

Not a Fournette fan, but the Jags are trying to suck this year. They are all in for Trevor. Or they just enjoy losing, they do it often enough they better enjoy it.

As an LSU fan I could tell Fournette wouldn’t be anything in the league when he repeatedly ran into the back of his blockers and tried to break tackles in the backfield against Bama and lost yards on pretty much every carry. He’s like the guy that was a physical freak in middle school but everyone catches up to him by HS and he doesn’t have the skill needed because he was used to just being bigger. Luckily for Fournette he was able to carry that all the way through most of college and make a few million bucks. Most just end up teetering out before even college.

Exactly... The Jags are awful and they are having a fire sale. They are tanking this year.

Also Fournette was running behind the #26 line in the NFL. Cam Robinson was a wasted pick and has been awful. While Henry ran behind a top 10 line.

Jags fan here. Talk about brutal. We tried to trade him for literally anything prior to the draft. Would have taken a 5th or 6th rounder for him. No offers. Then we end up just cutting him because we couldn't get enough production out of him to justify his cancerous attitude. Even more embarrassing is that the Jaguars draft decision makers are starting to look even worse than the Browns.
