The game is basically battle royale with 100 players dropped onto an island with the winner being the last left alive. Shoot enemies, build forts as gas circles around everyone forcing people into smaller and smaller area as the game goes on.

No way in hell does Texas have better Internet than my ZipStream 1000x1000 fiber optic ... I can't even find a device that can handle 1000x1000 speed. Can't find a WiFi modem that can spit it out fast enough.

Best I am getting on WiFi is through my phone at an average (based on SpeedTest) of around 340 mps and on my DISH Hopper DVR it'll download a movie at around 700 mps.

What Mikae said, and the names of a lot of the places are cheeky and light hearted.

Salty Springs, Tilted Towers, Snobby Shores

By dropped onto an island he means you get to skydive onto the island and pick where you want to land. Go for the towns that have lots of guns you have lots of other players around you. Go to the desolate areas you have few guns but much fewer players. I think an underrated way to play is to drop onto a roof while another player has just landed and the two of you just start hacking away at each other with your pickaxes. Best to time it as the 2nd guy landing cause he'll be distracted for a second and you can get two swipes in on him before he knows what's up.

Seriously though for a free game you can't find anything better. It's fun as shite

Eh I’m more of a pubg guy not a fan of the cartoony style nor how shady epic was with the whole BR situation.

Well if you want to get technical...... PlayerUnknown was hired by H1Z1 to save their dying survival game to create king of the kill after his successful arma2/3 mods called “battle royale”. Which soon after it’s success was offered his dream opportunity to make his own game the way he wanted it. The engine PU licensed to use was unreal which epic makes and they worked real close with pubg to make the necessary engine changes they needed. FF a bit and you have fortnite a pve tower defense game that’s been in development for years and they soon realized their game was trash so what did they do? Basically copy and pasted what pubg was doing in their engine. That’s what I’m referring to for shady business. Epic had 0 plans for BR mode until pubg exploded in popularity.

shite some of these “nerds” on twitch are making several thousand a week live streaming themselves playing these video games. The top ones have around 30k subs a month which costs $4.99-24.99/mo and the average twitch contract is the steamer gets half of that which comes out to 75k a month and that’s not including tips they get on top.
