Simpson maybe. The young guns would be foolish to leave though

right but you basically have 4 young guns now, and there's only 1 that's been designated as DeBoer's guy.

As of now they’re all sitting behind Milroe anyway so what’s your point?

The point is all the QBs should be starting from scratch anyway. Milroe shouldn't be ahead of anyone in a DeBoer system

Which is why attrition isn't done at the position. You'll lose 1, maybe 2 more guys there.

Exactly! No way all our current QB's stay. It's normal for every program to lose backup talent at QB.

This has been my point and I’m not a Milton hater. DeBoer is not going to care about seniority nor does he have any loyalty to players in the system. He will play best QB to win. He knows he can’t afford to botch this. If Milroe improves like he is capable I hope he gets that start.

No shite? Neither does LSU, baw.

Your Heisman winner was complete dog shite last year (2022) and even got benched against Auburn.

Milroe playing was mostly a situation a majority of the team wanted him to be QB and Saban just went along with it. I believe Saban gambled knowing he was fixing to retire and Milroe the best band-aid option for this year. But no way an offensive guy like Deboer allows that trash to continue. That LANK BS is history.

The fact Auburn hasn’t addressed a QB in the portal, and their belief it was a talent deficiency around their QB that made them bad, doesn’t make me think Auburn will be that dangerous next year outside playing hard and physical.

Peyton Thorne isn't putting any fear into anyone right now but Hookers and Blow Hugh and Auburn fans.

Question is can Milroe make the throws and reads required of a QB in a DeBoer system. Penix's arm and a stupid good receiving group made it look easier than it should be.

No, Milroe doesn't have the QB IQ for it.

You think they take this commit knowing that someone is on the way out? Bama seemed solid in its QB room already.

So Alabama is being replaced with a PAC 12 team top to bottom.

I think Auburn prefers to get a guy who will only be there a season b/c they think highly of Walker White.

Exactly. And also in the mix for 3 stud QBs in the 2025 class.

That’s speculation anyway. No idea. Best guess is whoever wins the job in spring you likely lose two anyway. If Milroe loses you know he’s gone and I don’t blame him. He’s already graduated. Next would be Simpson or maybe Lonergan I guess.

A kid from California isn't coming down south to tutor the QBs already on the roster. He's coming down to take a job.
