Can't speak for others, but for me it's because it opens a door that was previously closed.

I am annoyed that a judge forced it. But if it's just people that didn't get a 5th year coming back and it ends there, I don't give much of a shite.

But based on everything I've seen thus far it's going to open that door and then it won't shut. Anytime someone wants to come back from the pros, they'll say "Well in 2026". Someone challenges the 5-year thing and suddenly we got 30+ year olds out there.

That's not good.

I hope it blows up in LSUs face because I like the idea that a team is more than just throwing a bunch of high paid players together. Kind of like when it blew up in A&M's face with Jimbo. We'll see.
