That kinda works the way Bama did it - brought in consultant after big loss - coordinator leaves 2 days after next big loss - consultant hired a few days later.

Not so much when your season ended in November and the D-coordinator leaves 10 days before signing day.

Use context clues parkjas.

He wasn't fired because Bielema likes him, but Ash was encouraged to seek other employment options. He got the job at OSU and we said congratulations.

Seriously?

I can't think for you Auburn fans, at some point you have to take over and use common sense.

Loyalty is never a good thing. Tubs and Richt have learned that harsh lesson.

So you have nothing that suggest your notion? Just saying. it could or could not be the case, but can you at least provide a little background to support your statement. otherwise it just looks like you are trying to come up with reasons to support your own personal/fandom belief, which could also be no where near the truth as well.

They rarely do this. They are going to be in denial with anything negative towards tflagship.

The fact that we didn't try to retain him is a good indicator.

And the fact that he wasn't recruiting any of our commits.

but you didn't fire him...seems like he was being retained.

IF he wasnt being retained, why was he not fired the first week of December?

Do you have anything that supports this as well, because this goes along with what I just wrote again

Bret sure has found himself in a picklethis morning. His loyalty put him in a situation where he has no DC with signing day less than 10 days away. That can't be good for the D recruits.

Obama is the president and he didn't know a lot of things that happened until watching the news like the rest of us.

You really just don't get it do you? It's by design. Bret is getting to do in home visits that he wouldn't be able to do if he had already hired a DC.

Furthermore, we've been recruiting Solomon Thomas for a while now. Right after Ash made the move to Ohio State, Thomas immediately eliminated them and cancelled his official visit scheduled for January 31st.

Its a pretty poor design then. Most other coaches try to have a full staff by signing day.
