A Neurosurgeon in Mobile got a DUI and his passenger ( a female med student) was killed and he got 25 years. Dr was married with 2 young kids.

My sister was killed by a drunk driver. I have zero sympathy for this thug. My hope was that he rot in prison.

He also went to trial...it's called a plea DEAL for a reason. You will undoubtedly get lesser time for pleading guilty. Duh
Ruggs was looking at up to 40 years by going to trial

I would imagine the impact killed her. But Ruggs just sat there not even trying to help or showing any concern for the person in the burning car. So he is a POS.
