When is the John David Phillips/Freddie Kitchens twitter battle? Need to clear my schedule.

Dang, I forgot about all that.
We’ve had some great luck with QBs.
We went from all that with Barnett, Bateman, and Cornwell to Hurts, Tua, Mac, and Bryce.
It’s amazing really.

Don't you dare bring Brian Burgdorf into this.

Meanwhile, Cooper Bateman:
Cooper didn't work out but I think he was an OK guy. Met him a few times and know people who thought well of him.

Mark Guillon 2004 Guillon started a pair of games during the 2004 season after Brodie Croyle had a season-ending injury. He subsequently left the program in October 2006. [10]
Spencer Pennington 2003–2004 He made his first career start October 4, 2003. Pennington started the final seven games of the 2004 season after injuries to both Brodie Croyle and Mark Guillon. He left the program in January 2005 to focus only on his baseball career with the Crimson Tide. [11]
This is for anyone who needs reminding of the dark years at BAMA.
Brandon Avalos 2003 Avalos started against Southern Miss during the 2003 season due to injuries to both Brodie Croyle and Spencer Pennington. He left the program in January 2004.

Same - plus I'd guess a program like Utah doesn't take on a 6th year senior as a backup unless he's a team first, good dude.

I've got my money on Spencer Pennington, assuming Brandon Avalos could sub as-needed for any freak injuries.
ETA: David Smith of course would handle the officiating.

Were you with Brodie on that hunting trip in South America?

It’s a shoe. They cost absurd amounts of money and people make fake ones.
