According to all the reporting from real people, yes. I included an interview you can watch. Won’t take long.

He’s trying to use this as a form of negotiation leverage.

You are the dumbass. Bengals vets are telling him no way should he sign the f'd up contract the Bengals have offered to wit:

quote:

clause not used with recent first-round picks like Amarius Mims and Myles Murphy, according to ESPN.

The Bengals' ownership are cheap idiots, plain and simple. What a bad look for that organization.

Bengals recent track record is not good.

Goodwill needed and clause should be removed if they want him to sign it

The Bengals aren't at fault. ALL NFL teams should do this for any guaranteed money. See Judkins. Browns are fortunate they haven't signed him yet.

Coaches/teams aren't the legal system. If a player isn't in jail or prison, they should be free to play.

However, if I ran a team or the league, I'd insist on a clause in all player contracts that if you are locked up, you forfeit all money for that period.

Frankly as a bengals fan I was pissed they took Stewart to begin with. He’s stiff and easily blocked. Straight line speed and high jump be damned.

Moreover he’s refusing to sign a contract that is very similar in wording to the contract signed by first round picks this year just before and just after him.

The bengals defense is going to be atrocious next year with or without him. We literally did next to nothing to get better aside from the draft and I don’t love our selections.

But as someone who hates the brown family and bengals ownership Stewart can pound sand. His entire career so far as been nothing but overrated athleticism and weak arse production
