In fairness, he was only 20 when he beat him out. And 20 when he got his first win over LSU
He's 25?

He has his degree and wants to play.
Sorry you don't understand the concept.

I was really excited to get him a few years ago. If I remember correctly, he was rated higher than Amari Cooper coming out of high school. He seemed to stay hurt though, sucks to lose him but best of luck.

I think the staff may have passed on Tyren Jones, but not sure. I think Brad Lester brought him on the latest visit, along with a couple of other players.

Isn't he from SoFla? Maybe Richt is going to get him.
ETA: Cooper, Miami. Black, Jacksonville.

Yep. When they both first arrived, there was more buzz on Black than Coop. IIRC, some dumbass blew him up in practice knocking him out for most of the season. Coop got even more reps and the rest is history. He just couldn't stay healthy long enough to crack the rotation and now with Ridley he never would have at Bama.
He stuck it out and got his degree. Hope he gets the chance to shine somewhere like Dee Hart did.....

I've always been a big fan, and will pull for him wherever he chooses to go (even Auburn).
I can't remember what year, or even if it was a single year, but he and Blake Sims had seemed to have developed a rapport. Sims would come in for mop-up and Black would be his go-to option. So much so that I thought he could potentially overtake Christion Jones sometime in '14. But that obviously didn't happen.
Anyway, good luck to the guy. He still has a lot of potential.
