A highly recruited quarterback that started for 5 seasons ought to be unstoppable.

It’s going to be an exciting game, maybe the best of the season for college football fans nationally . No one will be bored watching this classic.

*IQ.

But then again, like they tell us all the time, it's an LSU website so I imagine traffic would slow considerably.

A strict requirement for triple-digits IQ would hurt the ad impressions. No doubt about it.

Want to note that this is not a slight. I think NIL can and should make talented quarterbacks consider longer gestation in college to set themselves up for success in the NFL.

Kids start as freshmen or sophomores more often now. Getting 3-4 years as a starting quarterback is very beneficial. Hell, one of the best to do it, Bill Parcells, always looked for QB prospects who took a lot of meaningful snaps in college. Seeing more defenses and spending more time learning how to throw accurately against them is skill development more akin to baseball athletes than most other positions on the field.

Yeah, Milroe is definitely the better QB.

Yet, I am willing to bet you would trade your wife if it meant Jayden Daniels would be the QB at Bama.

I remember Bama wanting to fire Saban after this year and cut loose their QB’s. Even the ones I met at the casino agreed with this at that time. It was a serious melt.
