Did, before it got pillaged burning the bp oil spill. Cedar key provides a bunch now.

Loved them, now they are hard to get.

Maine has some of the best seafood I have ever had

I concur.

Louisiana, Maryland, and Maine all have excellent and unique seafood.

I never understood how a state surrounded on three sides with water has no idea how to cook seafood.

Meh, this isn't really true

While I prefer the best LA offerings over the best FL offerings, the simple fact is that half the country probably prefers minimalist (or bland) food prep. My personal belief is that they would be swayed with enough time and exposure, but maybe not.

Not to say FL is entirely bland in seafood preparation, which they obviously aren't. Outside of NOLA, there is probably a much broader diversity of prep styles in FL as well.

It depends on what it is. If I'm eating yellowfin or salmon, my seasoning is salt and pepper. If I've got something else, I might serve a seafood mornay over it with lump crabmeat or shrimp.

That is one big ugly fish. Can't say I've had the pleasure, or maybe not of trying paddlefish.

Also, Florida doesn’t have Louisiana Speckled Trout, Blue Claw Crabs, Brown/White Shrimp, Oysters.....

Just to mention a few.

WHAT???

Florida has all of those things and our oysters are better.

Anyone in South Baldwin County and South Mobile County Alabama has access to all the same fishing game as Florida. Between Weeks Bay, Mobile Bay, Wolf Bay, Dixie Bar, Jetties @ Alabama Point and various nearshore and offshore rigs and wrecks. All the same fish species along with shrimp, lobster and crab (including stone crab). These 2 Alabama counties are basically the Florida panhandle.

You cannot get lobster in the northern gulf and stone crabs are VERY rare

Meh. Florida has much better than lobster. Lobster isn’t even worth bragging about.
