Watch for the ILB spot in the spring game. Oregon loses two big cogs in Alonso and Clay.
DL is the deepest unit on the team.
The secondary will have two lockdown corners in Mitchell and IFO.
OLB and safety are solid.
DAT is bulking up. That should help for carries. Byron Marshall will be another key - our second rb. Huff is moving to the the slot and will get carries.
The air game should be more potent than ever with HUFF getting some help from Bralon Addison with the latter picking up from his true frosh year. Mariota is obviously a year older.
OL has a strong nucleus. Johnstone was a freshman all american, Grasu was a 1st team all pac center and Fisher has played solid reps both of his two years on campus and started last year. Guard is the spot to watch here.

I have zero expectations for the game. They still have the Kelly mentality, and that's scary. We'll see if Helfrich can segue seamlessly.

Whats left of your coaching staff?

HC Helfrich was a OC
Our OC is Scott Frost, last year's WR coach
Our WR coach is a new hire, in Matt Lubbick, from Duke. He was the WR coach of the year by one publication.
Campbell is still the RB coach.
Greatwood is still the OL coach.
Osborne is still TE and special teams.
DC is still Aliotti.
Secondary is still Neal.
Pellum is the LB coach.
The DL is new and he is Ron Aiken. Last year's AZ Cardinals DL coach and long time IOWA DL coach.
The staff is very veteran. Everyone that remained was there during the entire Kelly era. Aliotti, Campbell, Greatwood, and Pellum have all been there for decades.

I predict D'Anthony Thomas becomes the Heisman front runner after this game

Y'all seem to have had the same coaches there for a while.

I love the play action pass out of the option.... That is fricking lethal and the receiver is almost always wide open by 20 yards.

I am interested in seeing Frost work with the offense. Frost brought a real physical mentality to the WR corp. Listening to him on interviews and at recent event at a local high school, he is all business and a man of few words.

I fricking love the option. It is what college football is supposed to be.
Nebraska was actually my team growing up. I loved them up until Callahan was hired. Eric Crouch is my favorite all-time college player ever.

I was born in Canada. Moved to Tennessee when I was 9. Gravitated towards Nebraska because of the Red and White colors, because as a 9 year old Canadian, I had only ties to my country's flag, and that was the closest thing to it. By the time I was a freshman in high school I came around, went to and graduated from UT. No sidewalk here.

That explains a lot.

I fully expect for y'all to win by 20-30.
Hope that it is somehow a good game as I am going to try to be there. In-laws from Oregon, beautiful country.
I would link some Vols' spring vids, but I doubt your body is ready.

Good for ORE to have some continuity (a lot of those guys I remember from the Bellotti days)....wonder why a few more didnt go to Philly? When Harbaugh left Stanford, i think he took 4 guys to the Niners.

I was really hoping to make it out to Oregon in Sept for this game, but a good friend of mine is getting married that weekend Oregon is one of the coolest states and Portland is one of my favorite cities in America. I have zero expectations to win this one, which sucks. Hope these two programs play again in a few years when UT is back on its feet.

Oh look, it's Missouri getting raped:
FWIW Missouri has a better chance of winning this game than you all do.
I doubt you get how awesome that burn was though...
