Well technically A&M has 3 Top 15 NFL prospects playing and JFF is the lowest of the 3. The question is how we reload.

You don't replace a JFF but the A&M offense will be fine. We have RB's and WR's to burn and 2 highly rated QB's that come from similar HS offenses to battle it out. It certainly won't be the one man show that Johnny can put on though.

The key for A&M will be defensive improvement and seeing if enough of the highly rated guys we are bringing in can make it so we can stop somebody next year.

It's just WAY too early to know anything but the level of talent from a stars perspective will be higher next year than this year as the weaker Big 12 classes are replaced by the more recent classes. A&M just hit the lotto with a 3 Star QB and a 2 Star WR that are All Americans. The question is if the 4 and 5 Stars will be as good.

I'd be cool if aggies never came back to earth. Just put all the aggie cult members in a spaceship and send them out star trek style to explore things. Isn't NASA close to aggie land, get to work on that giant spaceship.

i agree w/ the OP...TAMU being the SEC presence in Texas will keep them very relevant in the SEC title conversations. They're not going anywhere.

.Just know that the Aggies have the #1 QB in the country committed in 2014 and the 8th best overall player in the nation.. Kyle Allen, 5-Star.

Right, nothing like putting all your faith in a kid that has never taken a snap

Texas A&M wasn't about nothing in the Big 12 and is currently not about nothing in the SEC.

1 win over Bama last year is the one thing that is keeping your little boat a float. Seriously

You came back down to earth after losing to Bama....and reality will set in for you after LSU if not AU this weekend.

Aggie needs to find a defense becuase you have to play it to win in the SEC

So we weren't about nothing, therefore you're saying we were about something in the Big 12 and SEC...I'll upvote that

What's with all the aggie insecurity the last couple of days? I don't venture over here much, so maybe it's a regular occurrence.

I believe the OP's title is correct...however his reasoning is wrong. Kyle Allen may not be the savior or hell he may never start...there are plenty of 5 star busts out there.

I'm not sure about 2014 as we're still young and thin on the defense (bunch of underclassmen) and I'm not sold on the OLine recruits that Sumlin has brought in.

That said...the talent in Texas is so great that we should be able to pull higher rated players that WILL make us relevant for the foreseeable future.
