I actually thought the same thing. Missouri is much better than my Rebels. They came back and got in the game. But the last possessions of the game was bad. Just out of control ball movement and driving to the goal. They drew a tough matchup like we did.

Hey Kansas played a great game. I didn’t expect Self to beat Cal in this game. Cal isn’t coaching Memphis State. Is this the first rematch of two old friends since that game?

2012 I forgot that Kansas was the runner up. That Kentucky team lost 2 games the entire year. Loaded. And that Memphis game all he had to do was foul. Rose didn’t and the 3 point shot went down. What a game.

I will say this. No excuses Mizzou played bad. However, no doubt a 30 win conference champion Drake is NOT an 11 seed so this was no upset. Mitchell & Gray are hurt, Mizzou has played bad for a month, so this game is not some huge shock. Gates will be in year 4 of a complete rebuild so they’ll be fine. Keep in mind he was missing his 7’5” freshman Burn’s to injury all season.
