For months TAMU has been bragging NIL and money pouring in. Now you butt hurt over words?

You all have been bragging about how you got all this money coming in and NIL etc etc.
When somebody else says it out loud, you get all butt hurt over it. Strangest damn thing.
I get why Jimbo is mad. But for you fans who has spent the last few months bragging about it.... LOL..

A&M fans are not annoyed about NIL being mentioned.
They are annoyed that people are implying that A&M did something illegal, or "cheated" whenever everything they did was within the rules. The University did not pay players anything NIL collectives and LLCs did. Meanwhile, Bama players have been driving around in brand-new vehicles for years.
I don't know how people are not understanding the difference between NIL and Cheating/illegal activity.
They are annoyed that people are implying that A&M did something illegal, or "cheated" whenever everything they did was within the rules. The University did not pay players anything NIL collectives and LLCs did. Meanwhile, Bama players have been driving around in brand-new vehicles for years.

Well it’s awful coincidental that y’all shoot up to the number one in the recruiting rankings.
I can understand A&M being number one if you were actually any good but you’re really not and that just makes it all the more suspect

No one is denying that A&M took full advantage of NIL.
LSU also struck out on trying to bring Jimbo over and that impacted their recruiting in a negative way and contributed to the perception that A&M is the place to be right now.
OU had a coaching change and texas lost to Kansas and went 5-7. It was already a perfect storm for A&M, but NIL just pushed it over the top.
All the big-name recruits were also at that Bama game which had a great atmosphere and impacted some decisions. They were also building off of a top 4 finish and orange bowl win, not this season where we went 8-4 and had an injured QB. Remove the purple and gold glasses for a second and try to be objective.

Our biggest recruiting foes are Texas, OU, & LSU. Two of those had coaching changes and Texas went 5-7. Houston, a city we fight with LSU to recruit, had a historically good class and A&M dominated in recruiting a city we always recruit well. On top of that we had all the nations best recruits at Kyle Field when we beat Bama. Every recruit raved about the atmosphere at that game. Add to that, Jimbo has always been an elite recruiter.

Boosters are seen as representatives of your school at all times, so when your boosters do something, it's your school.
Alabama didn't pay a single penny to Albert Means, his coach or anyone else. It was just some booster who went out and did all that. But because he is a booster, he is deemed to be a representative of Alabama, and thus Alabama got in trouble for it.
None of this changed with NIL. A collective being run by boosters who are using it to recruit is no different than the Albert Means case.

People still are too stupid to realize its not hard to buy a used vehicle . Most guys get grants and financial aid
